The city’s Department of Transportation is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, August 2nd to unveil details about the eastward extenstion of the Bloomingdale Trail. Come learn more and provide feedback on plans to extend the trail east of the current terminus at Walsh Park. Exhibits will be on display from 5 – 7 p.m., with a presentation from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Plans have included extending the trail underneath the Kennedy Expressway to connect with the Chicago River and the proposed Lincoln Yards development. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 5-7 pm at 1229 W. Concord Place.
