The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently awarded the City of Chicago a $500,000 grant to conduct cleanup of the City-owned land at 1807-1815 N. Kimball Avenue next to the Bloomingdale Trail. Cleanup grant funding will be used to reduce trichloroethylene (TCE) hot spot concentrations to acceptable levels.
