We are pleased to report that this year’s Bloomingdale Trail Run was an all-around success. Not only was the weather gorgeous, but Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail (FBT) had its own “personal best” for the annual event: selling out all available spots and having more than 500 runners participate in all age groups. This is a true community-organized run and the proceeds support FBT’s advocacy programs. Thanks to the runners, their families and friends and the volunteers who came out on a summer morning to be a part of it.

We‘d like to express our gratitude to all of the community organizations and businesses that generously sponsored the event. The Bloomingdale Trail Run is produced by the Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail, the McCormick YMCA and the Chicago Park District. This year’s run was generously sponsored by AdHoc, Yolk Test Kitchen, Christy Webber Landscapes, The StopAlong, Metropolis Coffee, Ørkenoy, Palenque, the Trailhead and the Dill Pickle Coop. We do this best when we do it together.
Thanks to everyone involved and we hope you can join us next year!
